Finreon and education
As a spin-off of the University of St.Gallen (HSG), Finreon is committed to fostering a close exchange between education and practice. In addition to the capstone project at HSG, Finreon employs several students who study at different universities and colleges in Switzerland, providing them with valuable practical experience alongside their studies.
The HSG Capstone Project is a course that HSG students take at the end of their bachelor's degree. Students with a finance specialization work in small groups on practical problems for leading companies in the asset management industry using the methods and theoretical content of the Bachelor's program. In doing so, they are guided by the lecturer of the respective capstone project. The students present their results to the practice partner and prepare them in media form. In the final report, they describe and reflect on their approach and the results.
