Bonds: Risk without return?

02.03.2015

Bonds are investable again with Finreon Fixed Income Risk Control®

In a low interest rate environment, Swiss investors are faced with the fact that around 40% of the average asset allocation (i.e. bonds and liquidity) yield in low or even negative returns. Moreover, these low interest rates come along with high risks, especially in a period of rapidly increasing interest rates – therefore, the asset class ‚bonds‘ has changed from ‘risk-free return‘ to ‚return-free risk‘.

With Finreon Fixed Income Risk Control®, Finreon offers a simple and complete solution which systematically manages and hedges the interest rate and credit risks, while not renouncing the capability of bond investments in the long term.
The goal is, by the use of a risk control, to convert the asset class ‚bonds‘ in such a way, that it becomes investable again.
